Founder
Aaron Garg is an incoming freshman at Waubonsie Valley High School who started Jazz for Joy in 2025. He has been playing alto saxophone in jazz and concert bands for three years and loves sharing music with others. Through Jazz for Joy, Aaron visits nursing homes and assisted living communities to share live jazz music. Seeing the residents smile, tap along, or simply relax to the sound of a familiar tune is what makes it all worthwhile.

Jaynish Patel is a fellow freshman at Waubonsie Valley High School who shares a passion for jazz. He plays tenor saxophone and brings great energy to each visit. Jaynish enjoys being part of the music that helps brighten the day for seniors in the community.
